Corporate
Responsibility
Our commitment to community development is rooted in a simple purpose — to ensure that the roads we build also pave the way for stronger, healthier, and more empowered lives. We believe that infrastructure must serve people first, and our CSR initiatives are designed to uplift the communities that live along and around our corridors. Guided by this purpose, we focus on creating real impact through education, healthcare, road safety, skill development, and resilience-building programs that respond to the needs of local populations. By working hand-in-hand with communities, government bodies, and grassroots partners, we strive to create environments where people can thrive. We are equally committed to environmental stewardship, working to preserve natural ecosystems, promote sustainability, and ensure that development progresses responsibly and harmoniously with the environment. Our mission is not just to connect places, but to connect aspirations — strengthening India’s development journey through meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable social progress.
.Our Corporate Responsibility Projects
Shikshaantra Plus Program:
To bridge learning gaps and ensure equal access to quality education, KIB, in collaboration with KHUSHII, launched the Shikshaantra Plus initiative — a comprehensive school transformation program empowering children across 10 Government schools in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.
Since 2022, the program has reached over 8,000 students, providing support education in key subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Gujarati, Computer Education, and Spoken English through innovative remedial teaching techniques.
The initiative goes beyond academics — focusing on holistic development by:
- Enhancing teaching-learning environments and digital classrooms
- Promoting health, hygiene, and WASH awareness
- Building 21st-century life skills, creativity, and critical thinking through STEM & CCT sessions
- Offering counselling and psychosocial support to nurture emotional well-being
- Encouraging student leadership through Maitri Groups (children’s clubs)
Through Shikshaantra Plus, KIB is not just improving education — it is inspiring confidence, curiosity, and a brighter future for thousands of young learners across rural India.
Cycle Donation:
Kishangarh Beawar NH-8 Tollway Pvt. Ltd. (KIB) jointly organized a special felicitation ceremony at the District Collectorate, Beawar, to honor district toppers and meritorious girl students for their outstanding achievements in academics and sports. Toppers of Class XII across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams, along with girls excelling in education and athletics, were recognized for their accomplishments. As part of the campaign, 20 bicycles were distributed to deserving girl students to support their continued academic and sports journeys — empowering them with greater access and mobility.
E-Waste Management:
To strengthen sustainable waste management practices and promote circularity, KIB ensures that electronic waste (e-waste) generated across its operations is disposed of only through authorised and compliant recycling vendors, in line with applicable regulatory requirements.
During the reporting period, e-waste was responsibly collected and channelised for environmentally sound recycling.
This initiative helps prevent improper disposal, reduces environmental and health risks associated with hazardous electronic components, and enables material recovery through formal recycling systems. The approach supports KIB Sustainability Master Plan objectives on circular economy, environmental compliance, and responsible resource management, while reinforcing accountability.
Solar Power Plant:
-
Solar Power Plants – Gegal Toll
Plazas
The 170 kW solar power plant installed at Gegal Toll Plaza (KIB) has been operational since 9 September 2022. Since commissioning, the plant has demonstrated consistent performance, ensuring stable energy output under site conditions and contributing directly to the project’s decarbonization targets. Monthly monitoring reports indicate steady generation and tangible cost savings in utility bills, driven by reduced grid dependency.
Key influencing factors such as seasonal solar radiation, module cleaning frequency, and shading are being regularly monitored for these power plants to maintain efficiency. The initiative aligns with KIB’s commitment to renewable energy transition and carbon footprint reduction under its Sustainability Master Plan.
Solar Street Light:
-
Community Solar Street Light
Installation
Four solar-powered streetlights were installed at two identified locations at Ch: 82+050 Junction and Ch:87+220 median opening at MCW along KIB. At each location, two solar lights were mounted on a single pole at community-recommended spots to address identified dark stretches and improve night-time road safety. The installed solar streetlights are of 70W capacity to ensure sufficient illumination of the surrounding roadway and pedestrian areas. Refer enclosed pic of solar lights.
- Enhanced night-time road safety by eliminating dark spots and improving visibility for pedestrians and road users.
- Environmental benefits through the use of solar energy, reducing dependence on grid electricity, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and providing a sustainable lighting solution.
Social, Community and Environmental Benefits
Composting Units:
Composting units established at Geggal and Piplaz Toll Plazas treated around 538 kg and 155 kg of organic waste respectively over the same period. The compost produced is being reused for horticultural applications, ensuring sustainable management of biodegradable waste and restoration of soil health within greenbelt areas.
Tree Plantation:
The Kishangarh–Beawar NH-8 project continued its corridor greening efforts through systematic avenue and median plantations to strengthen roadside green cover and enhance ecological resilience.
